Aurora Bowkett

Professional singer, Aurora Bowkett is strong stage performer, whose versatile voice covers multiple genres from Opera and musical theatre to Jazz and acoustic popular music.

Trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she has been lucky enough to perform in venues such as Wigmore Hall, Barbican Concert Hall, Milton Court Concert Hall, Gottlieb Hall (Chicago) and Louis J. Roussel Performance Hall (New Orleans) both as a student and professional.

She made her operatic role debut with Brent Opera as Leonora in Il Trovetore in 2024, following her debut as Donna Elvira in 2022 with Opera Co Productions and Michaela in 2023 with North Wales Opera, as well as performing intimate gigs throughout London at jazz bars and private events.

She has performed internationally in the critically acclaimed Hans Gabor Belvedere competition 2023, as well as a semi-finalist in International Grand Prix and the Premiere Opera Foundation Competition in New York. She also has performed in New Orleans and Chicago as well as European gigs in Bordeaux and Marmande (France), Corsica, Gozo (Malta) and Nicosia (Cyprus).

She is available to private and public performances, weddings and festivals as well as coaching and teaching both in person and online.

She has performed in multiple public masterclasses with famous singers and organisations internationally. From Opera Caledonia with David Gowland (YAP Royal Opera House), Derek Clarke (Scottish Opera) and acclaimed coach Elizabeth Rowe, to private masterclasses with Miriam Gauci, Greer Grimsley, Nuccia Focile, Mary King, Susan Bickley, Nicky Spence and Susan McCulloch.
